Project Overview
This project explores the intersection of sound and interaction design. I was challenged to conceptualize and design an application where sound is a central part of the user experience. Whether functional, playful, or a hybrid, the goal was to push beyond conventional interaction methods using sound as input, output, or both.
Course: UXD 320, DePaul University
Role: UX + Visual Designer
Tools Used: Figma, FigJam, p5.js.
Sound Interaction App
Phase 1
Concept & Visual Design
WildCall Pro is a next-generation wildlife app that uses AI-powered sound recognition to identify animals through live or recorded audio. It offers a large library of categorized animal calls, custom call sequences, GPS-enabled sighting logs, offline use, and Bluetooth speaker integration. With AI-driven behavior insights and region-specific call packs, the app supports both hunters and wildlife enthusiasts. A freemium model provides basic features, while premium users unlock advanced tracking, full call libraries, and AI recommendations.
